Alamo,
California
The historic town of Alamo is
Contra Costa County's second oldest township and one that features
country club living at its finest.
Nestled between Walnut Creek,
Danville, Mt. Diablo and Las Trampas Peak in the San Francisco East
Bay, Alamo boasts a mix of spectacular custom estates, ranch homes,
equestrian properties and contemporary homes ranging in price from
$500,000 to $2 million and more.
Alamo is home to the prestigious
Roundhill Country Club, a private club featuring golf, tennis,
swimming and social events. The golf course and surrounding
ridgelines are dotted with homes ranging from 2,500 square-foot
ranch homes to 10,000 square-foot estate homes. The community has
two public parks and miles of equestrian trails that connect between
the surrounding area neighborhoods.
The San Ramon Valley Unified
School District provides elementary, intermediate and high school
education to the majority of the community. Achievement test scores
consistently rank in the top percentiles among California schools.
Alamo is in close proximity to great shopping, restaurants and
public transportation. |
